Jesus Christ Superstar has at its center a political and social rebel in the character of Judas, with the play centering on the conflict between Judas and Jesus during the week before the crucifixion. Judas questions the radical teachings, popularity and motives of this new prophet and ultimately betrays him. Concentrating on the final days of Christ’s life, Jesus Christ Superstar dramatizes the story with intensity and explosive theatricality. Accompanied by a thrilling and driving rock score that is tender and memorable, Jesus Christ Superstar shows the transcendent power of the human spirit with a passion story that goes straight to the heart.

Tuba Bach presents Jesus Christ Superstar with no admission charge (although it is a fundraising event—please come prepared to support the 2014 Tuba Bach Chamber Music Festival!)
Reserve seating by email at
or call (231) 796-0712

Jesus Christ Superstar is presented through an exclusive arrangement with R & H Theatricals and Two Knights Rights Limited.
